My sweat, your eyes is a series of collage photographs that were documented during a performance in 2017.
Prior to the performance, I gave several friends, colleagues, and volunteers disposable cameras. Half of the them recieved direction to photograph anything with the color blue, and the other half were directed to photograph only things that were pink. After the film was developed, I used some of the shots as collage on top of a series of images of myself in performance.
These images are representative of larger queer narratives, specifically those tethered to color identity and clothing/fashion, and how that relates to the body and how it is seen through a queer gaze.
